June 17, 2020 - Below are photos of Roque Otazo and Belen Rodriguez graduating from U.S. colleges. Roque graduated from St. Anselm in New Hampshire while Belen graduated from Barrea College in Kentucky. Roque and Belen grew up in Tobati and attended Team Tobati's Macchi School for six years before earning a scholarship to study in the USA, fulfilling their lifelong dream.
June 9, 2020 - Due to the pandemic and the temporary closing of the brick factories in Tobati, many adults in Tobati are not receiving monthly paychecks and are thus struggling to provide food for their children. Team Tobati is helping to fund a program at the Macchi School which provides food for its students and their families. Below are some photos of the program.
June 4, 2020 - Team Tobati is helping support the construction of a new wing at Tobati's public hospital. Below you will see photos of the almost completed construction as well as photos of the students from the Macchi School working on the school's garden. Also, included are photos of Macchi School students who have recently been given devices so that they can stay in contact with their teachers from their homes during this difficult time of distant learning.
