| July Medical Trip |  | In July 2009, sixteen doctors, residents, nurses, and volunteers traveled to Tobati to take part in daily free clinics and other programs. The medical professionals were from Connecticut Childrens Medical Center in Hartford, CT and Goshen General Hospital in Goshen, IN. The medical team saw over 1,000 patients. The team diagnosed numerous previously untreated illnesses while also providing free medicine and treatment to poor patients. The volunteers also spent time working in brick factories, the Macchi School, and visiting the homes of students.
