Team Tobati 2012 Projects (All 100% funded by Team Tobati)
  1. Multiuse patio/floor at Maestra Patricia School in the Santa Lucia neighborhood:  Team Tobati 2012 constructed a multiuse patio/floor outside Maestra Patricia Escuela in the poor Santa Lucia neighborhood of Tobati. Escuela Maestra Patricia is currently the grade school that has sent the most students to the team's Reinaldo Macchi Institute. Their students have scored best on the standardized test used as part of the Macchi school application process and have excelled at the Macchi school. Team Tobati has in the past constructed a kitchen and a classroom at Escuela Maestra Patricia.
  2. Improvements at Escuela Básica #6448 in San Jose Obrero neighborhood:  Team Tobati 2012 built a brick wall surrounding the San Jose Obrero School.  Escuela Básica #6448 in the extremely poor San José Obrero neighborhood is just outside central Tobati. This is a neighborhood formed around a few large brick factories. This is a school that was constructed by Team Tobati in 2003 so that the poor of the children of the brick workers wouldn't have to walk over a half hour across a river in order to get to their grade school. This school contains six classrooms, a bathroom, and an outside corridor, each of which was built and funded by different Team Tobati service trips. This school and this neighborhood are very special to Team Tobati due to the contagious energy and warmth of the children and the dedication and quiet integrity of their parents.
  3. Classroom in the poor San Rafael Neighborhood in 21 de Julio, Tobati: Team Tobati 2012 worked on the construction of a classroom at San Rafael Escuela, in the poor rural community of 21 de Julio, Tobati.  This is the fifth classroom that Team Tobati has built for this new public grade school.  Team Tobati is constructing the entire grade school by adding one classroom each year.
  4. Classroom in the poor rural community in Potrero Poli, Tobati:  Classroom Team Tobati 2012 worked on the construction of a classroom in the rural community of Potrero Poli, Tobati.  This was the third classroom built at this school by the team.  This classroom is used for a high school class.  It allows students to attend high school in their own community as opposed to having to get to the town of Tobati every day for school.
  5. Sidewall at Team Tobati Plaza: Team Tobati 2012 constructed a one block sidewalk surrounding this emerging public plaza and park.  This is the third sidewalk built by the team at the plaza.  (Team Tobati Plaza)
